Our collection reflects our core priority areas of English, arts, education and society, and also brings the best of the UK to you, our Bangladeshi audience.
Each of our libraries boasts a vast collection of print books, DVDs and audiobooks, and 50 of the best UK periodicals and newspapers. In addition, our customers can access online resources covering a wealth of subject areas, including 80,000 e-books and 14,000 e-journals. Our exciting plans for 2014-15 include the launch of a new online literature offer.
You can use our collection to open up new professional opportunities through English teaching and learning, enrich your professional life in the arts, find out about UK education and engage with the contemporary culture of the UK.
We are currently developing our resources for professional development and this will include publications and new materials on skills development, management, and study skills.

Study skills workshops for English language learners
We run study skills workshops on various themes, where experts share their knowledge with learners.
Study Skills workshops and proficiency tests for IELTS candidates
- study skills workshops for all four modules of the test (Reading, Writing, Speaking and Listening)
Career counselling for Professionals
This is a career counselling session for job seekers. The session will be supported by Jobsbd.
Activities for young learners
Members between the ages of 4 and 15 years can use our well-equipped Young Learners' Centre. They can sign up for a variety of competitions and events organised through out the year.
