Our relationship with the Government of Bangladesh and the UK government

In Bangladesh, we have a good relationship with the Government of Bangladesh (GoB) and work closely with its ministries and departments to design and deliver our development programmes. Our partnerships with the GoB include the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education, the Ministry of Commerce, the Ministry of Culture and the Ministry of Post, Telecommunications and Information Technology.

We are linked with the UK government and all our programmes support the British High Commission’s mission in terms of development, trade, security and prosperity for the people of Bangladesh.

Trusts and foundations

We work with trusts and foundations such as the Charles Wallace Trust, the Bengal Foundation and the Samdani Foundation to promote Bangladesh’s cultural economy and conduct research in various sectors.
