AAT Inauguration Event-1

The British Council now conducts AAT qualification examinations of the AKS Khan Centre for Excellence (ACE) who has been accredited by AAT (Association of Accounting Technicians) to deliver its accounting qualifications. The British Council and ACE organised the launching seminar of the AAT qualifications, UK on 28 November 2017 at the British Council premises. AAT is the UK’s leading qualification and professional body for vocational accountants. Its range of qualifications is open to all regardless of prior skills or age and includes the AAT accounting qualification, as well as bookkeeping and other finance qualifications. AKS Khan Centre for Excellence along with the British Council will now be offering ACE students the opportunity to take this significant step towards a career in professional finance.

Commenting on the announcement, Mr Andrew Newton, Deputy Director, the British Council Bangladesh said, “The economy of Bangladesh is growing at a steady rate. Within the next decade or two, the country aspires to be one of the biggest economies in the world. This large economy will need an apt number of financially skilled workforces. The globally renowned AAT qualifications being provided in Bangladesh would mean more members among the future leaders of Bangladesh will be able to attain these skills.” He also said, “We guarantee high-quality standards of exam administration, confidentiality and security of your examination papers and. The British Council is the UK’s international organisation for cultural relations and educational opportunities. The British Council helps to gain internationally recognised professional and university qualifications from various universities and professional bodies, in the UK and beyond, by offering examination administration services. In Bangladesh, the British Council administers a large number of exams on behalf of a variety of universities and professional bodies and one of those is now AAT.
