It's a great feeling when things work out in the way we want it to. During my higher secondary level of studies, I thought a lot about pursuing an international degree and that's when I decided to go for the University of Greenwich.

After searching in my local context, I got admitted for B.Sc. in Business Information Technology through the distance learning programme. I finished in March 2014. I must say, the course and its contents impressed me and though there were some shortcomings on the partner centres side, I was highly benefited through this. My outlook towards life and career were enhanced and approaching the reality of the job sphere became much easier as I came to know a lot.

In November 2015, I came to know about the British Council Career Summit through Facebook. As I was looking for a new job, I was scouring through Facebook now and then. I stumbled upon this event and immediately felt interested. As it turns out, this was a game changer in my life. I never thought that I would actually be able to get a job from an event. I attended the event and participated spontaneously and it all worked out when I got the interview call from Dnet. Dnet is a social enterprise which envisages to use Information and Communication Technology (ICT) for economic development of Bangladesh. Consequently, I got the job and I am very happy about it.

This opportunity has opened up new horizons for my professional growth and I thank the British Council and the Education UK team for such a wonderful and effective initiative.''

This opportunity has opened up new horizons for my professional growth and I thank the British Council and the Education UK team for such a wonderful and effective initiative. I have always seen the British Council stepping up in improving people's lives, especially the students. I appeared in many examinations in my life at the British Council and the facility is undoubtedly one of the best if not, the best in Bangladesh. Now, I can proudly say with a heart full of gratitude towards the British Council that they have transformed my life for the better and the best is yet to come.
