Cricket is a big part of Bangladeshi culture. Whenever the national team is participating in a tournament, the country is charged in an electrifying excitement and anticipation. The International Cricket World Cup is back and this year the grand stage has been set up at the place of origin of cricket, in England.

The British Council Cultural Centre is arranging multiple events to celebrate the international sport and to spread the World Cup fever throughout the nation.

Our library space will be dressed in this year's World Cup theme. Come take pictures with the cut-outs of your favourite players and our graffiti wall, and treat your Instagram profiles with the best stories. Share your messages of luck and best wishes for your favourite cricket team on our giant cricket bat. Celebrate the World Cup craze with us!
