For more details on each skills for IELTS

  1. Skills for IELTS Listening – you will be equipped with listening strategies such as predicting information, identifying synonyms and antonyms and dealing with distracting information, in order to correctly answer all IELTS Listening question types 

  2.  Skills for IELTS Reading – you will learn how to apply reading skills such as skimming and scanning, and techniques such as identifying synonyms and antonyms to tackle all IELTS Reading question types

  3.  Skills for IELTS Writing Academic – you will encounter a comprehensive set of activities to maximise your score on IELTS Writing Task 1 and 2. You will learn how to identify key features and fully respond to the task prompt in order to meet expectations for Task Achievement, as well as improve your grammar and vocabulary                                  
  4. ·Skills for IELTS Writing General Training — you will complete a comprehensive set of activities designed to address the specific requirements of the IELTS General Training test. For Task 1, you will improve your ability to write personal letters using an appropriate tone, and a range of fully connected sentences. For Task 2, you will develop your ability to write an appropriate essay in response to a question.   5.  Skills for IELTS Speaking – you will take part in speaking tasks and activities designed to maximise your score across all four assessment criteria: Fluency and Coherence, Lexical Resource, Grammatical Range and Accuracy, and Pronunciation.

IELTS preparation course is designed to help ensure an IELTS score of not less than 6.5 if you prepare with us and meet certain conditions mentioned below. If you do not achieve the mnimum 6.5 score after taking the IELTS prep course with us, you will be able to retake the course at no additional cost (Other terms and conditions apply)

  • Limited to 48 credit packages only – fixed or flexible.
  • A placement test result prior to starting the course at B1 or higher is required.
  • Full attendance in all 48 IELTS Coach lessons is required.
  • Completion of all course homework administered through the student’s portal in the Online Booking System (OBS) is required.
  • Submission of a minimum of 4 writing assignments to our writing mailbox is required (2 writing task 1 and 2 writing task 2 assignments)
  • For those studying flexibly, the gap between lessons attended cannot exceed 2 weeks.
  • The IELTS academic exam date must be within 1 month of the date the final credit was consumed. IELTS general training is not covered by the guarantee.
  • To redeem the free repeat course, an official IELTS academic exam certificate is required. This must be provided in person within 1 month of the exam date on the certificate.
