I would like to say a big thank you to the British Council team for their assistance and support. It is always a pleasure to visit Bangladesh and work closely with the British Council team. They always exceed our expectations. They are also very proactive in promoting UK higher education in Bangladesh.”

The British Council organised counselling session of the University of the West of Scotland (UWS) on 10 May 2016 at the British Council Dhaka University campus office. It was a full day event with a combination of seminars and one to one counselling by the university delegates. UWS offered GBP 2000 International Scholarship Award to all the participants who attended the session.
The University of the West of Scotland (UWS) is one of the renowned universities in the UK with a good number of international students. Farhan Rohila, Head of International Student Recruitment at UWS, delivered a number of informative presentations in the event with his colleague Shannon Humphreys. The delegates grabbed much attention of the potential students who wish to study in the UK. The British Council welcomed a good number of students who attended the seminar and intend to apply to UWS with scholarships. The students and the university delegates were equally pleased with the success of the event.
Sharing his experience of the session, Farhan Rohila said “I would like to say a big thank you to the British Council team for their assistance and support.
