Civil services have always been the first choice of career in our country. Especially due to the attractive salary package it offers. Also, career growth and security of civil service is much steadier than that of private ones. But, the application and selection procedure of these civil services is quite complicated. Applicants have to go through multiple rigorous stages to qualify.

According to a new research by World Vision Bangladesh, 4.4 million youths face unemployment in Bangladesh. And new numbers are adding to it every day. Most of our young people fail to apply, for not having adequate and sometimes correct guideline to do so.

Under the event series of EXPERT TALK, the British Council Library and Cultural Centre arranges monthly events, where our Common Wealth Scholars and experts share their views and experiences, tips and way-outs with the audiences. This month, we bring you EXPERT TALK: Career in Civil Services with our experts from the Civil Services.

So, if you are planning or wish to know more about Civil Services, application procedure, its future and perks of having a career here, then this session is for you!
