The British Council organised a pre-departure session for the University of West of England (UWE), Bristol on 14 and 16 August 2016 in Dhaka. It was a half day event with a combination of seminars and one to one question and answer session between students and respective representatives of the university. The local representatives provided information regarding studying at UWE, the weather and travel to Bristol, accommodation, campus life, student union and other student-related activities at the university. The students who attended the seminar were pre-registered for the event. Students showed much focus and a keen interest in studying either Masters or Bar at Law at the university. The university offered scholarships to the eligible students as well.
The University of West of England, Bristol is one of the renowned universities in the UK, specialised in Law courses. It has 14 different departments which are spread across three campuses in and around Bristol. UWE Bristol is one of Britain's most popular universities with over 27,000 students and 3,000 staff. After the session was over, the students and the university representatives were equally pleased with the success of the event.
