The British Council organised UK Education Open Day, one in Sylhet and another in Chittagong on 14 May and 21 May respectively. Visitors were advised to pre-register before their visit. There was also the option to register on-spot. Entry to the event was free. In Sylhet, there were over 200 visitors. A total of 14 local representatives were present at the venue to provide information on studying and living in the UK.
The British Council trained the 14 local agents who participated in the event. The agents offered counselling to the visitors. Following agents participated in the events :

A total of 61 visitors visited the UK Education Open Day held in Chittagong, though the weather condition was adverse due to the tropical cyclone Roanu. A total of five local representatives attended the event who were :

Throughout the event, local agents of different UK institutions offered counselling session to the visitors. They responded to different queries on studying and living in the UK. Answers were provided for various queries- English language requirement, IELTS test dates, IELTS preparation, IELTS requirements, scholarships availability in the UK, visa issues etc.
