A panel discussion, involves a group of people gathered to discuss a topic in front of an audience, typically at scientific, business or academic conferences, fan conventions, and on television shows. To celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Harry Potter books, the British Council is going to arrange panel discussion on
'Snape was the worst kind of nice guy ever'.
Mr Ferdous Bappi, Trainer at Dhaka Chamber of Commerce & Industry will moderate the panel discussion. The panellists (Dhaka) will be:
1. Ms Sindur Sarkar, Teacher, Oxford International School
2. Toaha Mabruka, Teacher, British Council
3. Ms Ruksana Shilu, Teacher, Kakoli High School
The panellist will discuss the topic with each other by asking questions or reacting to the views and opinions of other panel members within a specific amount of time. The moderator will close the discussion and provide a summary of the panel discussion. Therefore, this activity will help the panellists to develop their cognitive skills and presentation skills.
