About the opportunity:

British Council Bangladesh seeks a supplier to research and evaluate the Disability Arts: Redefining Empowerment (DARE) initiative in Bangladesh, which is now concluded. DARE (2019-24) was an arts-led, multiyear, international project aimed at building understanding, capacity, and confidence amongst artists with disabilities and arts sector practitioners in Bangladesh. The project also aimed to develop the capacity of the artists and the people with disabilities through a series of training and capacity development programmes in partnership with the UK artists and arts organisations.

This impact evaluation initiative will critically evaluate the impact of DARE in Bangladesh and in the international network established through the initiative. It will identify lessons learnt and highlight successes and stories of change.

Organisations and individuals based in Bangladesh with demonstrated expertise in conducting impact evaluations relating to Arts and Culture initiatives are invited to apply. Expertise in disability arts will be an added asset. The supplier is expected to undertake impact evaluation work undertaken under the DARE project between 2019 to 2024.
