Date
Thursday 05 February 2026

In this practical webinar, Soma Sreshtha (Nepal) and Udani De Silva (Sri Lanka) share classroom-tested ideas to help English teachers manage lessons so that learners are more active, involved, and confident.

Drawing on their experience as teachers, the presenters will explore strategies and tools for lesson management that support learner-centred classrooms, make purposeful use of multilingual realities, and help teachers deliver instructions more smoothly and clearly.

This session is designed for English language teachers and educators in South Asia and for those working in multilingual classrooms who are looking for practical, adaptable classroom management strategies.

By the end of the webinar, you will be able to:

  • Set up activities effectively in a learner-centred classroom
  • Use multilingual classrooms as a resource, not a challenge, when managing lessons
  • Decide when, where, and how to give instructions for better understanding
  • Check learner understanding and support smoother lesson flow
