The WINGS Learning Centre, the British Council’s new state of the art test centre in Dhanmondi was inaugurated on 8 August 2017 by the British Council’s Regional IELTS Business Development Manager – South Asia, Craig Ewan. Attended by senior management from both organisations, the event kicked off as Craig cut the ribbon to inaugurate the venue. The welcome speech was delivered by the Managing Director of Sheba Group, Asif H Choudhury. He said in his speech, ‘This partnership has opened up new horizons for our organisation, and we are looking forward to a long and productive business relationship with the British Council’. Under the partnership, candidates can register for IELTS and take the test at the WINGS Learning Centre – this will further bridge the gap between the British Council and its IELTS candidates in Dhanmondi and surrounding areas by providing them with a location-based service, easy access to information and alternative method of payment, thus saving time and money. All in all, this partnership has been yet another leap forward as the British Council continues to ensure customer service excellence for its IELTS candidates.
