Music concerts

6 April 2019

Time: 05:30 pm – 08:00 pm

A mix of music and theatrics, the concert had a theme that portrayed a fictional society which is run by matriarchy. The concert seeked to bring out the struggles women face in the music industry. Well-known musician Armeen Musa directed the show, and guest artists were Elita, Sovvota, Kangalini Sufia and F Minor (a female group from the hill tracts) amongst others. They each played 2 songs, with Armeen’s directed Ghaashphoring Choir performing 3 songs. There was a total of about 10-12 songs, along with a theatrical display.

The Kathmandu Killers from Nepal also performed at the concert.
