Winner - Business and Innovation Award

Prof. Khondaker A. Mamun
University of Southampton
An AI researcher and founder of AIMS Lab at UIU, Prof. Khondaker specializes in 4IR technologies, including AI, Big Data, and IoT. With over 200 articles and numerous patents, he is a recipient of the Digital Bangladesh Award 2022. He also founded CMED Health, advancing health inclusion for Universal Health Coverage and consulted for GoB, WHO, UNICEF, ADB and the World Bank, garnering innovation grants from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.

Winner - Science and Sustainability Award

Dr. Kamrun Koly
London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine

An associate scientist and mental health researcher, Dr Kamrun is based at the international health research institution- icddr,b. Her current research focuses on people with dementia and neglected tropical diseases in Bangladesh. She has been recognized with multiple research and social awards including the Mujib-100 years research grant for women and Inspiring Women Volunteer by the United Nations, Bangladesh.

Mohammad Taqi Yasir

A dynamic Bangladeshi development practitioner, lawyer and entrepreneur, Mohammad Yasir has worked on implementing transformative initiatives in Bangladesh. His organization Footsteps Bangladesh serves hundreds of thousands of people across 37 districts through community-centric projects in WASH, climate action, public health, disaster response and more. He was recognized by Forbes 30 under 30 Asia (2022) for Social Impact.
