Cheltenham Festivals produced the first FameLab in 2005. A partnership with the British Council since 2007 has seen the competition go international, with more than 10,000 young scientists and engineers participating to date.
Selected participants join an exclusive two-day intensive masterclass led by expert UK trainers.
FameLab Alumni have given TEDx talks, written books, presented television programmes, started science communication companies and become successful researchers able to communicate effectively.
