Transforming English Language Skills in the Higher Education Sector in Bangladesh (TELSHEB) aims to improve the English language skills of students and teachers in the higher education sector.
Based on a needs analysis report, we initially drafted four modules, in partnership with Canterbury Christ Church University in the UK, to meet the needs of students and teachers at different levels.
The modules were currently being piloted at selected universities. The final modules were handed over to the University Grants Commission (UGC) for roll-out in all universities across Bangladesh, with a strong recommendation they should be incorporated into future curriculums.
